In the cave you can see in the background, they used to bring 150 people at a time. A hurricane in 2006 made it unstable, so that can no longer happen.
After playing the Hawaiian Wedding Song for us (and dancing to it) this charming group directed us to kiss each other and trade cameras so we all got to record the moment. Evidently thousands of weddings a year are performed in this special location, the Fern Grotto of Wailua.
