In Tustin and San Diego

We had a mini-family reunion at cousin Linda's that was so nice!  It has been far too long.

Juli and Linda playing early morning golf -- are we diehard golfers?  You bet!
After the family get-together and overnight at Linda and Mike's house in Tustin, we drove to San Diego and met my assistant from La Casa del Zorro, Shauna Aguirre, and her new beau, Bill, for lunch.
Shauna and her beau, Bill, took us to lunch on the water in San Diego.  It was delish!

What was even better was connecting with Shauna after so much time had gone by.  This was a trip of connections for sure, and we really enjoyed it.
The next day we played golf at Torrey Pines Golf Course -- if you are not a golfer, I can tell you this is a very famous (and worth the fame) municipal golf course that is very challenging, and hard to get out onto.
Juli is happy, playing Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego.

Shauna and Bill are so cute together.  Wishing them the best!
This was at Croce's Restaurant and Club in San Diego.  Shauna invited us to join them there, and they had a front-row table.  The occasion was what would have been Jim Croce's 69th birthday.  His son, A.J. Croce played piano and guitar and sang the most popular of Jim's hits.  Other artists joined in and it was SO much fun!  See the end of this post for some videos where you can not see much at all, but you can sure hear the singing.

Video from Croce's.  Turn up your speakers because you can hear the singing quite clearly, despite not being able to see much at all.
