Summer Vacation in Salem

A photo with no explanation!

Sara takes her first bow after her initial guest conductorship of the Dirk Hillyer Festival Orchestra. She learned her conducting skills from Mr. Hillyer, along with five other children, and did a mini-conducting along with each of them.

When she took the stage again, it was for an entire work -- the theme from the Magnificent Seven, and she did an awesome job.

Sara and Jocob stick their toes in the Atlantic for the first time, at Halibut Cove, Essex County, Massachusetts.

The pause that refreshed -- we stopped at the Emerson Inn to say hi to the owner/innkeeper, and decided to do a family portrait of the women, Diana, Juli, Courtney and Sara

This summer we decided to take a vacation at home. My daughter, Diana's visit, with her family provided the perfect vehicle for this vacation.
